Frequently Asked Questions
Make no mistake, going to a federal prison for the first time will be difficult. First time inmates usually tend to have problems with the prison staff and other inmates due to the fact that they do not know anything about prison life or ‘doing time’. They make mistakes because they are unprepared and just don’t know what to do. If you will soon be heading, or even if you’re uncertain if you’ll be getting time or not, it would be in your best interest to learn as much as possible about being an inmate before you get there. Once you walk through that gate you’ll be entering a ‘new’ world that has its own set of rules that you will have to live by.
